It's Hammer time! After purchasing a Thor mask at Target, Kai lamented to his mom that he didn't have a hammer. One short trip to Michaels later and we whipped one up out of a few simple items.
This was a fun and easy build. Using the Green foam typically used for artificial plants kept the weight surprisingly light, easy for little hands to swing around. Duck brand duct tape makes a wide variety of colors and textures and I would encourage you to try different ones for different effects.
After the build Kai and I hit up our local comic shop for Free Comic Book Day (May 1st).We picked up a few comics and met some heroes and villains along the way. All in a days work.
