Make aesthetic and inspirational rocks with just a few materials and steps.

Supplies

  • Rocks (must be smooth and large enough to paint on)
  • Paint Markers or paint brushes and paint

Step 1: Prepare

First, wash the rocks and make sure they are clean. Dry them off, and then bring them to your area where you will be painting.

Step 2: Painting

Then, take your rocks. Decide what quote you want to write and what colors you will use. For example, for my first rock, I will be using the quote "Be You," the text will be blue, and the background will be pink. My second rock will be white text with no background, but I will add dots in the background. The quote will be "Reach for the Stars." My third rock will be white and yellow with the quote, "No rain, no flowers." Now, you guys can do however many rocks you want, and whatever colors and quotes you want, but I'm doing three with these quotes and colors for an example.

Step 3: Finishing Up

After your paint dries, find a good spot to put the rocks outside. There, done!
