Digital Drawing Portrait Tutorial

This is a tutorial for an easy portrait made on a digital drawing app. Let’s go!

Supplies

- A digital drawing app (I’m using procreate)

Step 1: Creating a Canva

Go into your drawing app and create a “paper” in the A4 format

Step 2: Sketch

Draw a sketch step by step like on the pictures.

Step 3: Eyes

Draw eyes on the circles. Add details.

Step 4: Eyebrows

Draw eyebrows slightly above the eyes.

Step 5: Nose & Mouth

Draw the nose and mouth like on the pictures.

Step 6: Hair

Add a new layer. Draw any hairstyle you like.

Step 7: Redraw

Merge the layers. Use a normal another pen. Redraw the drawing on a new layer.

Step 8: Coloring

Add a layer below. Color the picture with any colors you like.

Step 9: Shading

Put “Alpha Lock” on your layers. Start shading. I recommend using the “Gaussian Blur” option for gradients.

Step 10: Done!
