Introduction: Dino Racers
I love dinosaurs and racing them! Here is step by step how to make your own!
Step 1: Draw a Plan
First you can sketch a plan!
Step 2: Gather Supplies
You will need:
- 2 box halves
- 14 toilet paper rolls
- 8 caster wheels
- paper mache supplies
- paint
- hot glue
Step 3: Attach Caster Wheels
On eight of the toilet paper attach small caster wheels with hot glue. These will be used as the Dino Racers legs!
Step 4: Make Your Dino Body
Make slits in the legs and attache on bottom of box with hot glue. Then position the other three paper rolls on box to create a tail, neck, and head! You may want to cut the head piece in half to make an open mouth before attaching it to the neck.
Step 5: Paper Mache
You will need to add water to flour for paper mache glue. One cup of flour with two cups of water makes a nice paste. Use strips of newspaper to cover your Dino Racer. Two coats of paper mache will strengthen your racer so it doesn't fall apart.
Step 6: Paint Your Dino's
Now you can paint your Dino Racers when the paper mache is dry. Good tip: Paint white first to prime your Dino, before painting the main color. Add details with your paint. You can even make teeth form white construction paper and glue inside mouth!
Step 7: Now Your Ready to Race!
Grab a friend and on your mark, get set, GO!!!!
Step 8: Let's Race!
Now we get to race the Dino's! Enjoy the video!
