Introduction: Documenting ECE Progress Monitoring Data on Infinite Campus
This packet is a brief overview of how to locate, open and then convert the IEP data you have been saving on your Google Sheet to a PDF in order to upload it to Infinite Campus at the district mandated times.
Please note: This process will be the most efficient and error-proof when using Google Chrome as your browsing option. If you chose to use another search device engine, understand the process may take longer or create unforeseen complications. If these were to arise, contact your instructor for further guidance.

JCPS credentials to log into Infinite Campus
Step 1: Step 1: Sign Into Google Using Your JCPS Credentials
To sign into Google using your JCPS credentials, go to Google's homepage (www.google.com) and click on the blue "sign in" button in the top right corner of the page.
Step 2: Step 2: Enter Your JCPS Credentials Into the Google Sign In
Remeber, your JCPS email will always be used when signing into Google, not your JCPS alias. Your JCPS email will always be your firstname.lastname@jefferson.kyschools.us unless you have had your name changed since becoming employed with JCPS and have not updated that information with the district.
Step 3: Step 3: Choosing Your Account Type
When prompted to choose an account type, always click on the "Organizational G Suite Account" option. You will not have access to school based materials if you sign in under your personal account.
Step 4: Step 4: Sign Into Your JCPS Account
This page should look familiar, as it is the same page you see when you sign into your JCPS email. Remember, you are using your full JCPS email address to sign in during this process, not your JCPS alias.
Step 5: Step 5: Use Your JCPS Password to Finalize Your Log In
Your JCPS password here is the same password you use to log into your email and Infinite Campus.
Step 6: Step 6: Make Sure You Are Correctly Logged In
You should now be able to see your JCPS designated image in the top right hand corner of the screen.
Step 7: Step 7: Open Your Google Drive
To access school based materials, you must open your Google Drive. The icon looks like a triangle made up of blue, yellow and green lines.
Step 8: Step 8: Use the Search Bar to Locate Your Student's Google Sheet
Using the search bar at the top of the page, enter the student's name in the following manner: last name, first name and press the "enter" or "return" key on your computer's keyboard to search your Google Drive.
Step 9: Step 9: Open the Student's Google Sheet
There may be several documents saved under the student’s name depending on how previous teachers stored information. Our sheets have the green box with the white cross in it, which may help you save time looking through multiple files. When you fine the correct file, double click on it to open the student's Google Sheet.
Step 10: Step 10: Using the Tabs at the Bottom of the Sheet, Click on the Tab Entitled “IEP Goal"
If a student has more than one goal, there may be multiple "IEP Goal" tabs. The number after the title indicates what IEP goal the sheet is in reference to (so if you need to upload data for the student's first goal on their IEP, you would use "IEP Goal 1" for that data).
Step 11: Step 11: When on the IEP Goal Sheet, Begin the Download Process
In order to download your IEP Goal Google Sheet as a PDF (the required format for uploading data onto Infinite Campus), you simply click on the "file" tab in the top left corner of your toolbar, scroll down to "download" and then choose the option "PDF document (.pdf)" as your download option.
Step 12: Step 12: Finalize Your PDF Export
A new window will open up with a visual representation of your PDF. Once there, change the scale to "fit to page" prior to clicking on "export" in the top right hand corner. This will ensure that all important information is located on the same PDF and easy to read once uploaded to Infinite Campus.
Step 13: Step 13: Click on the Pop Up at the Bottom of the Screen
Step 14: Step 14: Click on the Download Button on the Top Right Hand of Your Screen
Step 15: Step 15: Save the File to Your Desired Location With Your Desired Name
Make sure to save your PDF in a location that is easy for you to find.
Step 16: Step 16: Navigate to Infinite Campus to Login
Go to the Infinite Campus login page either through your JCPS employee login page or by typing https://jcpsky.infinitecampus.org/campus/jcps.jsp into your browser bar. Use your JCPS alias and JCPS password (this will be the same password you use to log into your email and onto Google) and hit login to enter. If you are uncertain of your JCPS alias, contact your instructor.
Step 17: Step 17: Navigate to the Special Education Search Page
Once logged into Infinite Campus, use the task bar on the left to navigate to the "Special Education" section under "Student Information." From there, click on the "General" link.
Step 18: Step 18: Look Up the Student
Make sure that the current school year, your current school and the current grading term are selected in the top menu, then type the student's last name, first name into the search bar and click "go."
Step 19: Step 19: Begin Attaching Student Progress Data
Once on the student’s ECE page, click “upload document” at the top right hand of your IC screen.
Step 20: Step 20: Upload Your PDf
To upload your PDF, click on “choose file” under the "Document Filepath" section.
Step 21: Step 21: "Name" and "Staple" Your Document
Once the file is attached, use the top "Name" location to name the file. Click on the current school year and staple the file to the correct location.
Note: According to district policy, you should staple data to current IEP under the plans section for ending IEP data or when a student discharges. Staple data to current progress reports under the forms section when writing progress reports.
Step 22: Step 22: Click “save” in the Top Left Corner.
Step 23: Step 23: Checking You Upload's Success
To check if data was uploaded correctly, on the student's main ECE page, you will see a small black addition symbol.
Step 24: Step 24: Ensure Data Is Present
If you click on the addition symbol, you will be able to see what has been uploaded. If you do not see your named data with a staple icon next to it in the correct section, contact your instructor for further supports.
