Introduction: Draw Cartoons

This is my first ever instructable! I hope you learn something from it!

Supplies

  1. Any type of paper you desire
  2. Pencil
  3. Eraser
  4. Creativity!

Step 1: Start Guidelines

I like to start my characters off with a circle. This circle will be the head of my character.

Step 2: Body Guidelines

I draw various shapes for the body, some being a bit wonky😅 such as rounded rectangles.

Step 3: Finish Guidelines

Add the legs and arms, put them at any angle you please.

Step 4: Hair/Head

I like to start decorating by adding the hair and accessories to the head. Sometimes, i have to erase a bit of the head guidelines.

Step 5: Face

Next I add a face. My character is blowing a party horn! 🎉 Be as creative as you want and go for whatever style suits you.

Step 6: Clothes Pt 1

I like drawing jackets on my cartoons. Any type of clothes will work.

Step 7: Clothes Pt 2

I added pants, shoes, and hand warmers. It helps to play with different shapes. I also like adding a little bit of motion.

Step 8: Finish!

Darken some lines and add some details! Even shade if you want to!
