Introduction: Driftwood Sword
the tools I used was a jig saw, table saw, and sander, hammer, chisel, and twine [this is optional]
Step 1: Choosing Your Wood
The first step was choosing the wood. The wood I used was plank drift wood that I had found at a lake near where I live. Then make your design. here is the template I made for the sword. i used a broken practice scimitar to make the templates.

Step 2: Start Cutting
This is the first step we see an electric tool. i used a the jig saw to cut out the shape.…this took me approximately 15 minutes but It might be faster or slower based on the tool you are using…
Step 3: Shaping the Blade
I then used the table saw to thin out the blade. Make sure not to cut down the handle guard.
Step 4: The Handle
In the step I use the table saw to cut notches in the handle. then I take the hammer and chisel and cut the notes out.
Step 5:
Sanding is the last step an electric tool is used. Sharpen the blade and clean up the handle
Step 6:
the last step is optional..
I used the twine the rap the handle...you can use material like leather or an old bike tube as well.
So there you have it....drift wood turned into a cool looking sword.
