Drone Design in Autodesk Fusion 360

This project was based on designing an innovative Drone with dashing aesthetics and space constrained design.

Supplies

Autodesk Fusion360 and freehand sketching for reference

Step 1: Freehand Sketching

Drawings of what the final product will look like was drawn with specifying dimensions.

Later on the sketches were used as reference to design the components of the drone.

Step 2: Arm

Drone arm based on the sketch were modeled first and material was applied

Step 3: Frame

The Drone frame members were designed further based on calculated dimensions

Step 4: Exterior

To give an aesthetic appearance and aerodynamic compatibility, form tool was used.

Step 5: Simulation

Stress analysis on the components were performed.

Step 6: Assembly

All the components were assembled into a space together.
