-Using a zipper presser foot.

-Using edge presser foot.

-Top Stitch zipper edge.

-I recommend using matching color thread for best results.

-Sandwich zipper in between panels.

-Add top stitch along zipper edge.

-Trim excess fabric from strap panel B.

-Trim as close as you can to strap panel A.

Step 18: Repeat Previous Steps for Lining

-Grab the lining bottom panel.

-Place right side of lining bottom panel to main panel.

-Sew at .25 inch seam allowance.

-Repeat for opposite edge of bottom panel and main panel.

Step 19: Lining UP

-Grab the completed lining panels and place them on the inside of the outer layers.

Step 20: Side Panels

-Grab all of the side panels.

-Mark the center of top and bottom.

-Place the wrong sides together for outer layer and lining.

-Line up to main panel edge.

-Top center should line up with zipper.

-Stitch at .25 inch seam allowance around entire edge.

Step 21: Snip Zipper

-Snip the excess zipper sticking out of the side panel.

Step 22: Choose Bias Tape Option

-We need to bias tape the side panel edge.

-This will clean up the edge and make for a more professional look.

  1. Premade bias tape
  2. Bias tape making kit
  3. Bias tape binder.

Step 23: Premade Bias Tape

-Premade bias tape can be bought at the craft store and it is a simple solution.

-Place the raw edge in between the bias tape and sew down.

Step 24: Bias Tape Making Kit

-Bias tape is installed same as the premade.

-The kit allows you to make your own matching bias tape.

-You also get to pick the size and it comes with a presser foot for easy installation.

-Feed your bias tape strip through the feeder and iron on the opposite side.

-It is really that simple.

-Once bias tape is made. Install it on bag.

Step 25: Bias Tape Binder

-This is my favorite option.

-It is the easiest because it eliminates the process of making the bias tape.

-Place bias strip into binder and sew directly onto the edge of bag.

Step 26: Finished!

-Flip the right sides out and you are finished!
