Introduction: EASY Obstacle Scanner for Robots (LiDAR) Must WATCH

About: I love Creative Engineering. I believed that creativity is the only thing in the world, which makes you great.

It is a VL53L0X Lidar sensor based scanner. It can capable of scanning up-to 180 degree. The Arduino is the main processor in this project. An LCD screen is used to display real time angle and range details. The processing software is used to mapping the sensor data. So we can map the area around the sensor (180 degree) in the PC. It is a 2D version. I plan to make a 3D version. It is coming soon.

Step 1: Watch the Video

Watch the above first...

Step 2: Build the Circuit!

Here you can find the schematic of the project along with pictures of my finished board. Use them as a reference when building your own.

Step 3: Upload the Code to the Arduino!

Here you can find the code for the Arduino. Upload it.

Step 4: Processing Software in PC

Download processing software and use this given code for drawing the 2D image.

Step 5: Success!

Done. You can use this project in your coming project or previous project.
