Introduction: ELS Electric Motocycle (RUS)

The Inspiration

I believe everything should be as simple as possible but not simpler. Keeping that idea in mind as a core I have started working on a new urbanistic electrobike concept. My intention was to recreate the complex mechanism giving it the unique elegant structure. My intention was metaphorically speaking to relieve a heaviness and make it air light.

Many concepts were reviewed by me but no ideal one to be found. Once, however, I came up with a solution whilst sleeping. On the very morning I made a decision to realise that dream. I took a peace of paper and started to design in a timeless manner and full of inspiration. Playing with the shape I achieved the desirable goal and were absolutely happy. You can see my scetch.

There was a moment to make it real. The time went and the concept got more and more alive. I felt geometry and wind like my hand followed the curves resulting in the most organic shape for the frame I could give. Wish you enjoyed the prototype as I did the process of its creation. I felt geometry and wind like my hand followed the curves resulting in the most organic shape for the frame I could give. Wish you enjoyed the prototype as I did the process of its creation. Stages The work on this project included an appropriate frame development, fairing shaping and refinement. The key challenge was finding the most suitable frame which would minimise the number of details whilst keeping reliability and full functionality. I have constructed several prototypes and following through the number of optimisation experiments ended up with the current version. Another issue I faced was a fairing geometry. It took quite a long time to find my inspiration for this element in bird body curves. When the form was replicated it did add a substantial value to the whole creation. The fairing modelling process let me learn to work with clay and glass cloth which turned out a very time and energy consuming yet overwhelmingly interesting. Following the bird concept I removed the extra material and refined the sketched shape until the vision got materialised in today variation of my invention.

Now I am going to paint it and test drive the final version on Saint-Petersburg roads. Unique Selling Proposition

The Function
After careful review of electric bikes market I concluded there is no available budget options and made a decision to create one. You can easily purchase ELS as a constructor and assemble following few simple steps. Also it is possible to transport your folded bike without fairing in the back of your car. In case an extra transportability is required you can use a small accumulator. It will become light enough for hand-carrying. This electric vehicle emits no noise and no carbon footprint, whilst provides a wonderful costumer experience through simple and intuitive control. The indicators on control panel show speed and system condition. For your convenience I provided a special port for smartphone.

Wheelbase 1170mm Height 746mm width 384mm Power 2,6kVt Power reserve depends on the preferences of owner. You can always decide on your battery expenses but internal volume allows them to fit enough. I wanted to get the future a little closer. Thinking it is exactly what I have done.

I used following electronics for RC models: 1.Motor NTM 260kv 2600W

2. ESC 70A 7S

3. Battery LiPO 8A*h 6S

4. Gear ratio 1:14. Two stages: belt and chain types.

This hardware allows to ride 15 kilometers without charging.

Case was formed by stages:I created base model and started to remove redundant. Then i add cowl and tail.Case made from fiberglass. Frame consists of aluminum tubes connected by blocks and screws. Case gives additional rigidity.

My idea is to simplify and make electrotransport more accessible.

Thanks!

I have edited the model. Now you can collect the bike. Design of screw connections. All the details you need to capture additional screw. The frame can be modified as you please))
