Introduction: Easy Chilled Coffee Drink

A great way to cool off when it is hot outside, or maybe just a quick pick-me-up after a long night out before you need to give that important presentation.

Simple preparation, and gets easier every time you do it.

First instructable, so please bare with me.

Step 1: Gather Your Ingredients

Simple stuff, everything is shown in the picture below.

All measurements are rough and specifically made for the cups I use to mix, so you can make this up in a different container if you do not have cups as large as the ones shown.

You can vary for your preferred taste as well.

3 cups of room temp coffee (it can be coffee from yesterday, if you really dont wanna waste it)
2 Tablespoons of Vanilla Extract
1/8 - 1/4 cup of sugar
1/4 cup of The powdered "original" creamer
Some ice cubes
You'll also need mixing cups (2), and stuff to measure the ingredients with.

Useful Tools
Cocktail Strainer (Helps with removing the ice, that's all)
Wire/Mesh Strainer (Gets rid of unmixed clumps of creamer, you'll see what I'm talking about)

Step 2: Prepare to Mix

In one of the mixing cups pour in the sugar, vanilla, and creamer.

In the other cup, pour in the coffee.

Step 3: Mix It Up

Pour the coffee into the other ingredients first.

After they are together, simply pour it back and forth about a dozen times for a decent mixture.

Step 4: Strain It

Rinse the cup that doesn't have the mixture in it once over. Then put the strainer over the opening in the top, and pour the drink through, filtering out the clumps and keeping the liquid smooth.

Step 5: Chill It

Put the handful of ice cubes in the empty cup, and pour the drink in over top of it.

Pour back and forth between the cups a few more times (about 6 for a quickly chilled drink)

Use the cocktail strainer to get rid of the cubes if you'd like

Step 6: Enjoy

Drink it.

Really REALLY easy to make in a minute or two once you do it a few times.

Other things you could try are alternative flavors, no word yet on how my tests of different things are, but if I find something tasty, I'll add another step in here for flavors.

I know it is a bit of a lengthy instructable for something so simple, but hey, it's my first, and I didn't want to miss anything.
