Step 1:

Step 1: Chain 42

Start by making 42 chains.

This will form the base for all the petals.

Step 2:

Step 2: Make a Double Crochet Triangle

In the last chain:

  1. Make 1 double crochet
  2. Chain 2
  3. Make 1 more double crochet in the same stitch

This creates your first triangle space.

Step 3:

Step 3: Skip 2 Chains

Skip 2 chains, and in the next one repeat:

  1. 1 double crochet
  2. Chain 2
  3. 1 double crochet

You now have your second triangle.

Step 4:

Step 4: Repeat to the End

Repeat Step 3 until you reach the last chain.

Your long strip will now have several triangle-shaped gaps — these will become the petals.

Step 5:

Step 5: Create the Petals

In every triangle space:

  1. Make 6 double crochets
  2. Then make 1 single crochet to close the petal

This forms one beautiful rounded petal.

Step 6:

Step 6: Continue Petals All the Way

Keep repeating:

6 double crochet + 1 single crochet per triangle space

Your strip will naturally curl into a spiral.

Step 7:

Step 7: Finish the Flower

  1. Cut the yarn
  2. Secure with a knot
  3. Roll the strip into a flower shape
  4. Stitch or glue the bottom if needed

Your crochet flower is ready!
