Introduction: Easy, Flawless, 3 Ingredient Peanut Butter Cookies
There is no peanut butter cookie that is better than these. I once (accidentally) won a dessert contest with these 15 minute cookies. It was a potluck, and I didn't know that desserts were being judged--I just needed something quick to bring and only had 20 minutes until the next bus.
Time: approximately 15 minutes total
(5 minutes prep, 7 minutes cook, 3 minutes cool)
Ingredients:
- 1 cup turbinado sugar
- 1 cup natural peanut butter (crunchy or creamy)
- 1 egg
Makes about 15 medium size cookies
Step 1: Preheat Oven to 325 F
Step 2: Measure Your Ingredients
Any order is fine, but I like to measure sugar first, so I can use just one measuring cup.
Step 3: Mix It Up!
Step 4: Form Round Balls of Dough.
Approximately 1-2 tablespoons per ball and place the balls of cookie dough on a cookie sheet. Peanut butter is pretty oily, so greasing the sheet is unnecessary.
Step 5: Lightly Press Cookie Dough With a Fork
Step 6: Bake at 325 F for 6-8 Minutes
My oven runs a little hot, you might need 350. Back in college, I used to make these in a toaster oven in the kitchenette.
Step 7: Let Cool on Baking Sheet for 1 Minute Before Transferring to a Cooling Rack (or Your Mouth)
Or don't transfer them. It's up to you.
Step 8: Enjoy!
These cookies go fast, so consider making a double batch!

looks good, for those of us in the UK turbinado sugar is just demerara sugar and 225F is about 160C.

I'm hungry for such cookies, thank you! I had to look up the sugar:

I love using turbinado sugar because it gives the cookies a great texture and the sugar caramelizes just a tiny bit on the bottom of the cookie. I haven't tried it yet, but I think a rock sugar or pearl sugar might be good too, like this one.

Some of my friends don't use sugar at ALL, so I'm really responsive to sugar these days Good luck to you! 8-)
