Easy Marble Paper

This is an easier (and cheaper) version of the marble technique you see online made on water.

Supplies

• Shaving cream
• Paint or some kind of ink ( I used Ecoline)
• Some cards or paper
• a shallow glass bowl (I used a lid)
• Some paint brushes
• A piece of cardboard
• Optional: someting to stirr, you can also just use the back of a paint brush

Step 1: Start With the Shaving Cream

Put some shaving cream in your glass bowl, try to make it a little even if you can

Step 2: Make Your Pattern

Put some drops of paint on the shaving cream (you need more than you think)

Mix the colours with something until you have a pattern that you like

Step 3: Put It on Paper

Put a card or a piece on paper on the coloured shaving cream, press a bit on it and pull it out.

Step 4: Scrape Off the Shaving Cream

With the cardboard you can scrape of the shaving cream. Now you can see the marbled pattern that you made!

Step 5: Have Fun!

Try it a few times in different ways and use different colours, have fun with it!

Doesn't the paper get wet and then curl? Just curious. I've done this with alcohol inks, but your idea is MUCH cheaper! :)
