Introduction: Easy No Bake Chocolate Mousse Cake

This easy cake only contains 5 ingredients and tastes great. It has a cooky layer and a mousse layer. You can do it with dark,milk or white chocolate and any kind of chocolate cooky you prefer.

Step 1: Ingredients and Materials


75 g (grams of) butter

180 g chocolate cookies

1 table spoon (vanilla)sugar i prefer vanillasugar for this but if you don't have it use regular sugar

300 g chocolate (dark,milk or white) i used dark chocolate

375 ml cream ( for whipping)

1 cakepan ~ 20 cm

baking parchment


pan/ heatresistant bowl or smaller pan


Step 2: Making the Cookylayer

greace your cake pan and add parchment paper

melt the butter in a pan

crumble your cookies in a kitchenmachine or by putting it in a bag and using a rollingpin on the bag.

the pieces of cookies dont have to be extremely small

add the melted butter and cookies together and use a metal spoon the make a smooth surface in the cake pan

put the cake pan in the fridge untill you add the mousse

Step 3: Making the Mousse

start whipping your cream

to melt the chocolate add water to a pan and put a smaller pan or bowl inside.

Add the chocolate to the smaller pan or bowl and start heating to melt the chocolate

Let the chocolate cool a bit but dont let it solidify

Add the chocolate to the whipped cream and mix with the spatula only shortly. It is okay if you still see stripes from the cream

Add the chocolate mousse to the cooky bottom and put in the fridge for atleast 4 hours.

Enjoy with extra whipped cream or fruit
