Easy Sticky Note Blow Dart

Hi! In this Instructable, I am going to teach you how to make a very fun and easy sticky note blow dart. I made this design after my mom not approving of the blow dart that had a nail in it! These ones aren't very dangerous, but can sting if you hit someone, so be careful! Let's get started!

P.S: This is my first instructable, so please tell me how I did, or if you have any tips!

Supplies

-Straw (the thicker the better)
-Sticky note (what ever color you want the dart to be)
-Scissors
-Pencil
-Tape (optional)

Step 1: Fold the Dart

-For this step, just follow the notes on the pictures.

Step 2: Trimming the Dart

This step is easier. Take your nice thick straw and insert your dart in. Don't force it in! Mark the over hanging part of the dart with a pencil. Then, take the dart out and cut the marked part off.

Step 3: Shooting the Dart

Insert the dart into the straw. It should slide in with a tiny bit of space (see pic). Then send a quick gust of breath into the straw, and out it shoots!

Step 4: Have Fun!

This is a very fun toy for in the house. You can sneak up and ambush people, or make a target to shoot. Me and my siblings like to use different colored sticky notes representing different people, and have an all out war! Also, feel free to decorate the dart and the straw, and, as always when dealing with blow darts, don't shoot your eye out (or anybody elses for that matter!) :)
