The other day I was typing on my Kindle, and I thought to myself, "Self, wouldn't it be great if I could type without holding my Kindle thus allowing me to multitask?" I swiveled in my chair and caught a glimpse of my bookshelf. What could that be? A bookend? What could I do with that?
All you need to make this is a small bookend, some sticky pads (optional), and the edge of a desk or other piece of furniture.
To build it, just experiment with bending the bookend. find a comfortable angle for using your tablet, and bend the bookend over the edge of the desk. Put some sticky pads or felt tape down where the tablet makes contact with the stand, and you're done! Depending on the type of charger you have, this can become a charging base, too.
