Introduction: Easy-made Geode!

About: i'm a normal tinkercad user at south korea (https://www.tinkercad.com/users/aNdMHtbigLu-heamou/) and i joined instructables because a lot of people's been doing this and i really like all those complicated DIY…

geodes are awesome, there's no doubt about it. but why do you have to buy it, anyway?

so, i'm going to try to make a easy, cheap, and detailed geode at home.

Supplies

you will need:

a regular-sized rock

some tin foil

a glue gun

markers(purple & black)

Step 1: Gem Drawing

first, let's draw out a crooked circle/square for the gem. make sure the circle covers 20~50% of the stone.

Step 2: Placing the Tinfoil

now, let's place some tinfoil inside the circle/square. make it extra crooked and sharp, like a gemstone, but not too high-sticking.

Step 3: Remove & Repaint

not let's remove the tinfoil and color it purple. be sure to NOT change the shape of the tinfoil.

Step 4: Hot Glue 'em

finally, let's glue the gem onto the rock. it one gem isn't enough, repeat 1~3 and make more smaller gems.

Step 5: Finished!

it's finished! looks pretty dope!
so there you have it: the world's most cheapest, easiest geode ever!
