Easy to Make Paper Rocket

Hi,

This project is about making a paper rocket very easily with very less resources. The Rocket will fly when we position and blew it through the straw

Supplies

Supplies needed to make the Paper rocket

1)Cardstock

2)Pen

3)Scissor

4)Tape

5)Straw(2 different sizes)

Step 1: Draw the Template in Cardstock

Take the cardstock and start drawing as per the drawing given by me, draw as per the step shown by me, important thing to note is the fins and entire drawing should be symmetric

Step 2: Cutting the Rocket

Now carefully trace and cut the rocket alone from the cardstock

Step 3: Cutout

After cutting it will be as shown in the image

Step 4:

After cutting, bend the fins inside and finally bend the entire rocket slight inwards

Step 5: Holder

Now cut a straw(smaller size) and tape it tightly on one end which will be the top end of the rocket and stick it to the body of the rocket.

There should not be any hole in the top end of the straw so that the air blown inside will lift the rocket

Step 6: Blowing End

Now take a straw which is slightly bigger than the rocket holder straw, both ends needs to be open only. We need insert the rocket body into the one end of the straw and other end is for blowing.

Step 7: Straw Insertion

This is the backside images of the paper rocket.

Step 8: Testing

This is how it will fly when we place the rocket body on the top of the straw and we blow through the bottom end of the straw.
