Intro: Ending Parent Vs. Teen Fights
This is an instructable for teenagers to read. When you mess up really bad, sensible loving parents will lecture you. Personally I am only 14 years old but I have found the best way to end lectures fast and responsibly. I know this sound so cliche but take it from a fellow teen, plz at least try this method
STEP 1: WHAT NOT TO DO
Now, these are the dont's of trying to end an argument.
DO NOT LIE
-you are going to mess up in life, your parents won't be that mad if they did not beforehand tell you specifically NOT TO DO IT.
-they will be very mad if u lie
-I know from personal experience that sometimes when I'm nervous a lie will slip out
-if u do lie once like this, apologize for lying and explain what really happened
-IF YOU LIE YOU WILL MOST LIKELY GET CAUGHT AND YOUR PARENTS WILL BE FURIOUS
TALKING BACK
-an argument can only be ended if you stop adding negative feelings into the mix
THIS IS NOT A FRIENDLY TONE, JUST FOR REFERENCE THIS WILL NOT END AN ARGUMENT
ACTIONS SPEAK LOUDER THAN WORDS
-stand up straight
-no rolling your eyes
-stomping of feet, and pouting are not helpful

Alright so now we come to what to do
LISTEN
-your parents seem to be able to sense when you aren't listening
-they sniff you out all the time
AGREE WITH WHAT THEY SAY
-just nod your head occasionally and take the counsel it will make you a better person.

STEP 3: AFTERWARDS
A HUG ALWAYS HELPS
-try giving your parent a hug or if your "to cool for that" just say thank you for taking an interest in me
TAKING THE RESPONSIBILITY
-now come off of your high horse! And take the damn advice
-after they lecture you about something don't do it THE NEXT DAY
