This photo instructable is showing enlarging a Chirstmas tree decoration by scaleing it up from about 3 inches x 4 inches to 3 feet by 4 feet. Everything is made from cardboard and clear plastic colored sheets.

Thank you for posting! !
Very cool! The roof pattern looks like it must have been cut on a machine...was it?
Love the candy canes and candy sticking out the front, what are they made out of?
Nice work!
Thank you for your comment. To answer your question, no, the roof was NOT cut out on a machine. It was laid out by hand on one inch thick cardboard that my wife salveged when she received a shipment where she worked at the time. I cut out the pattern with a handheld jigsaw following the lines. If you look closely you can see some of the honeycombs of the cardboard where I cut through them. As for the candy canes and candy sticking out the front, they were cut from salveged cardboard tubes that carpet comes on and then painted. A carpet laying company was nice enough to give me a couple of the tubes which are about ten feet long. The candy sticking out the front was made by cutting wedges our of the tubes and then glueing them back together to form the curve of the candy. I used a lot of hotmelt glue on this project.
This is awesome! We are trying to build a gingerbread house similar to this for a parade float...
Just wondering what material you used for the outside of the windows etc. It looks like foam maybe?
Also, the gumdrop type things that are shown in one picture - how were they made?
Thanks!

CORRECTION TO MESSAGE BELOW----I JUST CHECKED THE INSTRUCTABLE AND I SEE THAT THE LITTLE WHITE BOX WITH THE i IS ON THE FIRST PHOTO AFTER CHOOSING ONE FROM THE STRING OF PHOTOS.------------Lester

Thanks for your comment. I saw it yesterday just an hour of two after you posted it. To answer your questions I went back into my instructable and on each photo I added a comment that describes some of the photo contents and how-to's. Please return to my instructable about the ginger bread house and follow these instructions to view comments.
1. SELECT PHOTO FROM STRING OF PHOTOS BELOW LARGE PHOTO.
2. ON PHOTO THAT THEN DISPLAYS "NOTICE" THE LITTLE WHITE SQUARE IN THE UPPER LEFT HAND CORNER WITH THE LETTER i IN IT, CLICK ON THIS SQUARE AND A NEW PHOTO WILL COME UP WITH THE COMMENT JUST BELOW IT. I HAVE TRIED TO COVER THE ITEMS YOU ASKED ABOUT. THERE ARE SIXTEEN PHOTOS THAT REQUIRE THIS SAME PROCEDURE TO VIEW THE COMMENTS. YOU WILL HAVE TO BACK UP THRU THE PAGES TO CHOOSE ANOTHER PHOTO. BE SURE AND CLICK THE RED DOUBLE ARROW ON THE RIGHT END OF THE ROW OF PHOTO TO SEE ALL SIXTEEN.
WHILE ON THE PAGE WITH THE COMMENT YOU CAN ENLARGE THE PHOTO REAL BIG IF YOU WANT TO. THIS WILL GIVE YOU A LOT OF REAL GOOD CLOSEUPS.

IF I CAN HELP IN ANY OTHER WAY PLEASE SEND ME A MESSAGE.
