Introduction: Entwine: a Relaxing Boardgame

For quite some time now I have been wanting to make a treenet, as a perfect summer project. But, with limited forest areas that would allow such a build, I was forced to think creatively! I designed "Entwine", a relaxing boardgame which lets you build small treenets.

Please watch the video to understand the full concept.

Supplies

Tinkercad

Rope (diameter of choice)

3d-printer

Filament

Step 1: Designing

I started off with a really simple design, which slowly evolved into the screw-on poles, the soothing landscape and the little house to store ropes. I also started designing the logo.

Step 2: Testing

To test how my printer would print the holes in the main board and the threads on the poles, I made this small screw which only takes about 4 min to print. If there is threading or if it doesn't fit, you can adjust the print settings or make the diameter smaller/bigger.

Step 3: Printing

If you want to print the game, I have included all the files at the bottom. However, I am still finetuning it and would maybe like to make it an actual game, so please only use for personal use! I included a basic pole, so you can customize it. I would recommend printing the board upside down, the house flat, and the poles all at the same time with the thread facing up.

Aaaaaaaand done!!🎉🥳
