Introduction: Exploding Blowgun/ Airgun Darts

Step 1: Getting Started
You need a circle piece of paper. Mine was made in powerpoint, and is 4.35 by 4.35 inches. Cut out a circle, and this will be use to make a cone (for win resistance, used in arrows and darts to go straight). Cut the circle in half. Cut out another square piece of paper, about the size of the cone (as you make darts, you will know how to make the size right, sticky notes will work too)
On to step 2!
Step 2: Body Formation
Gluteus to the Maximus!
Now that that is out of the way, form the back cone. First, fold the paper in half, into quarter circles. fold one edge to the crease you just made, forming an 8th of a circle. Roll over twice to make the cone. Place a piece of clear tapeto hold it together.
For the body, curl the piece of paperand add tape to one side.
Step 3: Explosives!
The explosives are an easy to buy fuel. Wanna know what it is? Gun caps! That's it! Just cut out the little round plastic parts and trim till smooth.
Put 'em in a stack , about 5, and lay them in the paper curl facing one direction (usually indent faces forward). Kind of flatten/twist the front (where indents are facing!) so it will stay semi-closed.
To make it BOOM! you need to stick a needle in the twist.
WARNING!! IF YOU PUSH TOO HARD OR WIGGLE IT YOU MAY POP A CAP!!!
Twist the paper around it and tape shut. Push needle carefully into the dart so it almost barely toouches the first cap.
Step 4: Finishing
Put the tube on the cone and tape together. Make sure the tube is aas straight as you can get it, unlike my first picture. Notice the second picture, the dart and needle are aligned.
To fire, place in your blowgun/ airgun. If the dart is too tight, just trim the paper. Aim at a surface, anything not like a bush, soft dirt, or grass, but something kinda firm such as clay, rocks, trees, wall, etc. On impact, the needle should go into the dart and pop most of the gun caps. Satisfy your booms :D
Step 5: Re-Usable You Say?!
YES! This is my prehistoric Re-usable Exploding Dart! All I have to do is pull the needle in the front outward, will with gun caps, place the head back on, and fire! The string is so I don't lose the two seperate parts. When it explodes, the fron shoots out the back, usually with some caps in the needle. No, sorry, I don't pan to post this, but let it inspir you. It's made of a pen tube, a paper cone, some hotglue, and a needle.
