Introduction: Extreme-g2 G Spark

About: Hi! I like to create papercrafts. Please follow and post a nice comment :)! I really appreciate it! Be sure to check out my Etsy shop!

This is a papercraft of some of the older games (1998) called Extreme-G 2. This bike is the G spark which is also featured on the cover. It's my favorite bike along with the Velofire (pink in N64 version) for its speed. It was kinda hard to export it out of the emulator correctly as the UV's were a bit messed up, so I fixed them up and combined the textures into a single texture file.

You will need Pepakura to open these files. With this software you can also make your model as big or small as you want. You can download it here: http://www.tamasoft.co.jp/pepakura-en/

If you want to know more about Extreme-G 2 you can view the video below for some gameplay. The game is available through Steam, but also playable through a N64 emulator.

Supplies

Step 1: Materials

Material list:

  • Aleene's Tacky Glue
  • Cutting knife/scissors or Silhouette Cameo (cutting machine)
  • Cutting mat
  • Black marker
  • Tweezers (recommended)
  • Paper
  • Printer

Step 2: Print, Cut and Glue

  1. Print out the templates.
  2. Cut out the parts and use a black marker to hide white edges of the paper. Only use it at dark parts!
  3. Fold and glue the parts together. You can fold using a ruler, a scissor or slightly go over it with your cutting knife

__ _ __ = valley fold

__ __ __ = mountain fold

If you have a Silhouette Cameo, you can use that to cut the templates by making use of the Cameo plugin for Pepakura. Found here: https://tamasoft.co.jp/pepakura-en/download/viewe... If you need some more help here are some useful papercraft tutorials:
