Introduction: EyesView Projector

In this guide, I’ll show you how to assemble and set up my all-in-one portable projection system. This setup uses a bright, colorful projector, external speakers, a portable mini-computer, and a USB drive for visuals. Anyone can follow these steps—even if you’re not familiar with the equipment.

Supplies

Gather All Materials

  1. Projector
  2. HDMI Cable
  3. Power Cable for the projector
  4. Portable Mini Computer / Drive Computer
  5. Speakers
  6. USB Drive with your videos, slides, or files

Step 1:

Step 1: Set the Projector on a flat surface

Take the projector and set it on a flat surface, preferably a table that is wide enough to contain the extra compartments that comes with the projector

Step 2:

Step 2: Connect the Power Cable to the Projector

Take the projector’s power cable and plug it into the power port at the back or side of the projector.

Then plug the other end into a power outlet.

(Do not turn it on yet—just connect it.)

Step 3:

Step 3: Connect the HDMI Cable

Use your HDMI cable to connect the projector to the portable computer:

Plug one end of the HDMI cable into the HDMI port on the mini computer.

Plug the other end into the HDMI input on the projector.

This lets the projector display whatever is on your mini computer.

Step 4:

Step 4: Connect the Mini Computer and insert the USB Drive Into it

Connect the mini computer using the HDMI cable to the projector.

Take your USB drive and plug it into any USB port on the mini computer.

This is where your visuals—pictures, slides, videos, or documents—are stored.

Your mini computer will load the files automatically once it powers on.

Step 5:

Step 5: Connect the Speakers

Locate the audio-out port on the projector (usually labeled “AUX,” “Audio Out,” or a headphone symbol).

Plug your speaker cable into this port.

The other end goes into the speaker’s input.

Once connected, the audio from your videos or presentations will play through the speakers.

Step 6:

Step 6: Final Assembly & Power On

Now everything is connected. Here’s how to finish:

1. Turn on the projector.

2. Turn on the mini computer.

3. Turn on the speakers (if they use a power button).

4. Select the correct HDMI input on the projector if needed.

5. Open your files from the USB drive and begin your presentation.

And viola! Your portable projection system is fully set up and ready to use.
