Hi is there any reason this wouldn't work with Karl Grimm solderable thread?

this is a show, not a how to!!!! where are the intro???? what are the materials to use to do that???? noting explain, this is only a show, and here is to learn how to make something not a gallery to show your lovely baby

Lynne: This shows an excellent "how-to" technique for embedding wiring into fabric for circuits integrated with cloth.

I like how you've broken this down into the very basic steps needed for soft circuits. Perhaps this is where softwear and hardware meet and become something tailor-made and new?

You said this is part of a series? I'll be keeping my eye out for more of these short and sweet instructables!

Hi :0) I'm not terribly clued in when it comes to this technique-Is there a battery pack some where? Is there an on/off switch? This looks so cool!

For an electric circuit - Yes indeed, you would need to include battery power and a LED in your design.

If you want to get fancy you can use computers, sensors and transducers.

Look at Lilypads or Schemers for all of the exciting options.

I would like to see more of the "how to". I am a fiber artist always looking for new way to embellish fabric. What equipment would I need? any techie souls out there to help? As mandra said, good who, but no substance

This is but one in a series of materials and methods I have posted in how to create conductive fabrics and threads. I use this 16 part series as a visual dictionary of conductive fabric and thread solutions lest I forget that sometime the best solution is the simplest of methods.

Perhaps if you search on "conductive fabric", "conductive thread" or "clothing" you will find the information you seek?

Variety is the spice of life, yes?
We weight the pros and cons with every application chosen.

This is done only with black light reactive paints and photographed under blacklight. I can only imagine what could be created with LED's and this painting technique. Imagine the possibilities......
