Step 2: Prep
Cut out your feather template and tape it onto the wooden plank however you want to position it!
Step 3: Nailsss!
Begin hammering in your nails being as accurate as possible and taking your time to make the spacing and angle uniform throughout the piece.
Here I just show a progression of putting in the nails. I used about 200 total and this step took me about and hour.

Step 4: Wrap It
This step is where your personal creativity can shine through! You can wrap the string however you want, making a pattern or just free styling. I am making a pattern going back and forth between the center row and outer rim.
When you reach the end, tie it off, cut it and glue the end around a nail.

Step 5: Finished!
And that's it! So this is a really easy tutorial, but keep in mind this is a weekend project, and will be time consuming. If you decide to create this, plan to have a lot of time! I hope y'all have fun making this, let me know by commenting and liking, and remember to vote!
