Introduction: Flower Puzzle Box

This is a puzzle box that can be locked and unlocked by twisting the flowers into the correct pattern.

I took inspiration from SKM on Youtube.

Supplies

  • 0.115' thick wood (3 pieces of 23.5x11.5 dimensions, but could be squeezed into less)

Step 1: Cut Out/engrave All Pieces

cut out all of these pieces with a laser. (engrave flowers on a different layer)

Step 2: Assemble Outer Box

You may need to use glue when assembling the outer box.

  • glue 6 sides to the inner ring and base (all pieces required are shown in the image above)

Step 3: Assemble the Locking Mechanism/lid

Using the pieces pictured above, assemble the locking mechanism by:

  • glueing each flower piece to a rod
  • securing it through the plank with 2 washer pieces
  • attaching the semi circle stopper, securing it with another washer

Step 4: Assemble Inner Box

Glue together the pieces for the inner box

Step 5: Slide Boxes Together and Mix It Up!
