Flying Monkey

Primarily this is a fabric jumpsuit,and headpiece. Hands(gloves) and feet are separate pieces. I used flannel fabric for the body and cut up and dyed an old blanket for the jacket. I then cut felt strips in red and white for the jacket trim  The jacket straps close with snaps . Attaching the fur and wire wings to the jacket allowed the wings to be worn like a backpack. WE used pancake clown makeup. This cost about $20 to make and only a few hours work.

Cool costume, but most readers would need more detailed instructions to make their own. If you have time, expanding the instructable would make it more user-friendly.
