Introduction: Folding Stairs

This project was done during Industrial Design studies at HIT- Holon Institute of Technology, as part of Fixperts course instructed by Prof. Gad Charny and Dana Yichye Shwachman.

The steps were created in collaboration with Marganit kindergarten from the Liman group, with the purpose of helping the children to wash their hands in a tall sink and practice basic capabilities.

The steps are foldable and have rails. They were designed for children with mobility impairment, stability issues and other special needs to allow them to reach the necessary height of the sink safely.
