Introduction: Fried Dumpling

About: Web developer, completed online creativity course from standford university. My vision is to create 1 new idea daily to remain 365 days creative


I am going to write about my fried dumpling smiley recipe  which will smiles to every one after eating. Pl do vote if u feel this recipe is useful to you.

Step 1:

For the Dough:
2  cup(s) flour
½  teaspoon(s) red chilli powder
a pinch of soda bi-carbonate powder
salt to taste
oil to deep fry
Mix all above mentioned ingredient. Prepare a dough and keep aside for 2 hrs.

Step 2:

For Stuff
1  tablespoon(s) oil
1  teaspoon grated ginger
1  teaspoon grated garlic
4  green chillies chopped fine
1  onion(s) chopped fine
4  cups mashed boiled potatoes
    salt to taste
4  tablespoons chopped coriander leaves
1  tablespoon(s) lemon juice

Step 3:

1. Heat the oil in a pan. Add the ginger, garlic, green chillies and onions. Fry on low-medium heat for about 2  minutes or till the onions are transparent.
2. Add the mashed potatoes. Heat for about 5  minutes. Put off the flame and let cool. Mix in the coriander leaves and lemon juice.

3. Make a ball of dough and flatten it as much as possible. Cut it in to triangle shape. Spread the mixture and make a thin layer on the top of the triangle. 

Make the shape of dumpling as shown in the picture and make a knot with grass leaf.
