Introduction: Frivolity- a K'Nex Ball Machine

About: I have a YouTube channel where I do LEGO and K'Nex stuff but my instructables account is going to be pretty much just K'Nex. But still check out my YouTube channel! And I will keep posting new stuff so check …

Hey everyone! This ball machine is a milestone in my building career for a number of reasons. First, It is the first that I am making a detailed guide for, showing all the paths, elements and other stuff in great detail with lots of photos. Second, it is my tallest ball machine yet. Third, it is the first one that I have composed music for the video (Really!). It has 1 lift, 4 paths, about 2500 pieces, and is my 8th ball machine so far. So please enjoy the video and the guide for Frivolity.

fri·vol·i·ty
frəˈvälədē/ noun

lack of seriousness; lightheartedness.

Step 1: Lift and Flexi-rod Track

This ball machine has a run of the mill chain lift, then all of the balls go on a spiral flexi-rod path before hitting the path selectors.

Step 2: Path 1

Path one starts out with a mini white floor, then it drops onto a tire arm. from there it spins a spinner, then onto a light blue spacer path and a panel path before speeding back to the lift.

Step 3: Path 2

Path 2 has some clickers and then an as-small-as-it-gets ferris wheel.

Step 4: Path 3

Path 3 has the back and forth dropper thing that is so popular but there isn't a widely used name for, then more flexi-rods to go back to the collection path.

Step 5: Path 4

Path 4 has a short tube and then collinjo12's 360 ball wheel element, my favorite part of the whole machine.

Step 6: The End!

I hope you have enjoyed Frivolity. Check out my YouTube channel!
