Fruit Stamping

Intro: Fruit Stamping

This unique way of stamping makes original designs and is great for all ages!

Materials....

-Fruit (apples, oranges, starfruit, pears, etc.)
-Knife
-Paint
-Paper plates
-Stamping surface (paper, shirt, card, etc.)
-Paintbrush (optional)

STEP 1:

Cut your fruit in half or quarters depending on the size you would like.

STEP 2:

Pour small circles of paint onto a plate and dip your first piece of fruit in it. (Or you can choose to paint it on with a paintbrush.)

STEP 3:

Press the stamp firmly onto your stamping surface.  If you choose to use multiple colors, rinse your stamps with water and dry with a paper towel to avoiding blending paint.

STEP 4:

Continue stamping until you have completed your design.
