Step 1: Preparation

You wont need anything more than your Game Boy and screen for this mod. A can of compressed air and a cleaning cloth is optional to get that screen surface squeaky clean before applying the adhesive.

First, remove your old scratched screen and save/discard. The old glue on the sides of the front housing can be removed. this will allow for a better fit although it is not necessary. If you do remove the glue, make sure to clean the shell again to remove anything that might fall on the screen after placement.

Step 2: Install

Remove the protective films and place on your DMG before any dust or debris makes its way onto your LCD. You may apply some super glue for better adhesion. Clamp down with some standard hand clamps and let sit for 10 minutes while your adhesive has time to set and dry.

Voila! You are finished! Enhance your new look with a colored DMG backlight and buttons to match.
