In this instructable, I will be showing you how to put GBA4ios on your nonjailbroken iPhone. GBA4ios is a gameboy emulator that plays both Gameboy Advance and Gameboy Color games. The best part about GBA4ios is all you need to download it is a little free space on your Iphone and safari.
Step 1: Finding the Download
To get to the download, open up safari and go to coolrom.com. Coolrom.com is a safe and free website that the emulator and games will be downloaded from. Now on the coolrom home page, you should see a tab that says emulators, click it. Now another set to tabs will pop up, click the one that says non-jailbroken. After this, you will be taken to a page that has a bunch of different emulator downloads, the only one we will want is GBA4ios. Click the GBA4ios tab, and press install.
Step 2: Downloading
After starting the install, the GBA4ios install progress bar will either freeze or a message say something like failed to install. To get it to install, you have to change the date on your phone back to before 2012 after starting the install. Once you set the date back, it should install and an app icon will appear for it on the home screen.
Step 3: Games (ROMs)
If you open up the GBA emulator, you will find that it has no games. To put games on the emulator, first go back to coolrom.com. Once on the coolrom home screen click the ROMs tab. A list of game consoles will appear, click either Gameboy Advance or Gameboy Color. You will be taken to a page with tons of games, find one that you want, and click it. A page will open with screenshots of the game, scroll down to the download button somewhere close to the bottom, click it. If you wait, you will be directed to a white page that says Open In..., find GBA4ios and click it, you will be taken to the app and the game will appear there.
Step 4: Play!
Now that you have a great Gameboy emulator on your Iphone, you can play to your hearts delight. I'm pretty sure that the number of games you can have on the emulator at once is pretty high, but each game takes about 2-5 MB of space.
