Gang Beasts Controls

Here is where you will learn the basic controls and how to play the popular Gang Beasts videogame.

Step 1: Controller Layout

Easily found in the game menu is the hints to what action is caused by each of the controller buttons.

Step 2: More Than Listed

Though the first screen the controller layout, it does not list all the actions that may be performed.

Step 3: Actions

Seen from the controller layout, the characters are able to punch with their right and left hands separately. When holding down the punch buttons when next to a player, it will grab them. As long as you are holding down punch, it will grab. There are many uses for this like: dragging players, holding onto ledges or walls, or picking up players and throwing them around (when grabbing and pressing the "lift" button simultaneously).

Step 4: Actions (More)

Multiple buttons have more than one use. The "kick" button is actually more of a head butt attack to knockout your opponents. When holding down on the "kick" button it actually makes your character lay down as if they are asleep or knocked out.
