Introduction: GeoFS Tutorial

How to use GeoFS.

Supplies

  1. Stable Internet Connection
  2. Web Browser
  3. Mouse/Touchpad and Keyboard

Step 1: Load Website

Go to https://www.geo-fs.com/

Step 2: Start Flying

Click on "Fly!"

Step 3: Aircraft

Click on "Aircraft", scroll down, and click on "Boeing 777-300ER". Change the livery based on your tastes.

Step 4: Location

Click on "Location", then "On Runway", and then "London Gatwick Airport - 26L"

Step 5: Preparation

On your keyboard, click "0", and make sure the gear is down.

Step 6: Let's Fly!

Click 9 on your keyboard. The plane is now moving! Wait for a while, until the plane is in the middle/after the middle of the runway. Slowly click the down arrow key until the plane is off the ground. Then click "g" to make the gear go up.

Step 7: Autopilot

Click A to turn on autopilot. Set the altitude to 3000, and the vertical speed to 2000. To the right of the autopilot button, click "M", and set it to 0.75.

Step 8: Landing Set-Up

Click on "Location", then "Special Approaches", and then "London City Airport (Runway 27 with a steep 5.5°

ILS slope)"

Step 9: Approach

Using the arrow keys, line the plane up with the runway, and pitch it down. Turn on spoiler, gear, brakes. Click 9.

Step 10: Landing

After you are near the runway, press 0. Then slowly press the up arrow and land the plane.

Step 11: Stop

Click e to turn off engine.

Step 12: Yay!
