So, what ARE bitcoins?

Step 1: First Get a BitCoin Wallet

The quickest and most user-friendly wallet to setup is CoinBase . It works much like PayPal and allows you to Send/Receive BitCoin payments as well as Buy/Sell BitCoins. Start by setting up an account HERE.

Their site is perfect for those new to BitCoin and not too into the technical side but rather looking for a quick and easy setup.

Once you're signed up,

1. Click Account Settings on the LEFT side bar.

2. Click BitCoin Address at the top menu.

3. Click the + Create New BitCoin Address button.

You'll see a new BitCoin address pop up below.

It will look something like this: 31uEbMgunupShBVTewXjtqbBv5MndwfXhb

This is the wallet address where you will send your withdrawn bitcoin to.

*NOTE: Coinbase also has a great app for your smartphone, check the App Store if your particular device to download after you sign up for an account HERE

Step 2: Next Begin Mining Bitcoins

Sign up at Minergate to begin mining.

Once you have an account and are logged in, download the software for your appropriate system. It should auto-suggest which is best for your machine.

Launch the application and enter your login email address and you're ready to start mining!

Now get mining!

Step 3: Withdraw Your Mined Bitcoin

At the Mintergate site, navigate to the DASHBOARD page. There you can select which coins to easily WITHDRAW to your appropriate Coinbase wallet address.

**IMPORTANT - Only withdraw coins to matching wallets i.e. withdraw Bitcoin to your Bitcoin wallet address. Withdrawing Bitcoin to say your Ethereum wallet with not work and your coins will get lost and are unrecoverable.
