Glitter Bomb /Audio Decoy Wallet

The Pickpocket Glitter Bomb/Audio Decoy Wallet is perfect for travel and vacationing, acting as prevention from getting your good wallet with all your valuables stolen. Not only will the criminal be covered in glitter for the rest of their life, but the wallet will also deliver a stern verbal reprimand.

Step 1: Materials

You will need tissue paper, a piece of paper, a cheap wallet, glue of any kind (we used Elmer's}, recordable greeting card guts or a Hallmark prerecorded card that plays annoying music, and glitter.

Step 2: Programing the Voice

Follow the instructions of the light activated greeting card recorder, or cut out the prerecorded piece of a card that has annoying music, or purchase a recordable card and cut out the appropriate piece.

Step 3: The Glitter Bomb Pouch

We followed along with the Instructables by terryh37 titled "How to Spring Load a Glitter Bomb Card for Maximum Mess" for this part of our wallet. Cut a piece of tissue paper slightly smaller than your wallet. Then fold it and glue the sides together.

Step 4: Finishing the Pouch

Pour the glitter into the pouch and seal it off with glue. Feel free to fold and glue the sides again to ensure that no glitter falls out.

Step 5: Attaching the Pouch

Cut a piece of paper double the length of the pouch. Fold the paper and glue it onto the pouch on both sides of the pouch.

Step 6: Adjust the Wallet

Alter the wallet so that the recorded piece sits nicely inside and test it out.

Step 7: Glue the Pouch to the Wallet

Glue the paper to the wallet so that the fold in the paper matches up with the fold in the wallet. Make sure that the recordable piece is not covered up! Keep that light sensor in a place that will get light when the wallet is opened. Finally, place weight on top of the wallet and let it dry over night.

Step 8: While You Wait...

While you wait, you can personalize the wallet by adding fake credit cards with inspirational messages about how to turn one's life around from a pathway of crime.

Step 9: When the Wallet Is Finished

Once the wallet is dry, it is ready for action!
