Hi everyone! Today we're going to design a glass jar. I purchased one glass jar from Target. I love that this jar came with a wooden lid. I figured I would create a Halloween candy jar. This is a super easy project and takes around 20 minutes.

Supplies

Materials

One glass jar--$5 at Target

Paint-I'm using black paint

One decorative Halloween napkin

Mod Podge

Paintbrush

Scissors

Optional--wood letter tiles and assorted mini pumpkins

Step 1: Applying Paint to Your Lid

Begin by applying black paint to your lid. Allow your paint to completely dry.

Step 2: Cutting Your Decorative Napkin

Next, take your decorative napkin, and cut two sections.

Step 3: Applying Mod Podge

After, use your paint brush and apply your mod podge. I applied mod podge on two sections of my lid. I applied it on the top and bottom. I left the center of my lid empty. Take your napkins and apply them over the mod podge sections. Smooth out your napkins and apply mod podge on top of each napkin. I used my blow dryer to dry and smooth out my napkin.

Step 4: Adding on Your Wood Tile Letters

Once you have applied your napkins onto your lid, take your hot glue and begin to add on your letter tiles. This is step is optional.

For my assorted pumpkins, I found a pack of mini pumpkins on sticks at my local Dollar Tree store. I took each pumpkin and snapped off the stick. You can also use scissors, or floral cutters when removing the stick. I took a little hot glue and applied a few pumpkins onto my lid.

Step 5:

Your Halloween glass candy jar is complete! I love how simple this was to create. I hope you have fun with this project. Be sure to let me know if you decide to create one too. Thank you so much for stopping by and creating with me. I'll see you soon.
