Introduction: Hand Sanitizing Chomper

A Chomper from Plants vs. Zombies that gently "bites" the users hand and sprays hand sanitizer before dispensing candy!

Step 1:

Print all the files in the drive folder

Step 2:

Attach one end of the axle to a servo motor axle and use a small drill bit to drill through the axle and the servo motor axle.

Step 3:

Put the two jaw halves together and insert the axle and the servo so the servo sits inside the mount on the bottom jaw. Use the micro servo screws to attach the servo to the mount.

Step 4:

Solder jumper wires to the keyboard switches and snap the switches into the square holes on the top and bottom jaw.

Step 5:

Slide the bolt into the shaft gear so the head sits inside the shaft gear. Then place the shaft and motor gear in the end cap as shown in the picture.

Step 6:

Place the nut inside the rectangular slot on the actuator arm and screw the entire arm onto the bolt leaving a gap for the main body to be attached.

Step 7:

Attach the dc motor to the main body and use hot glue to secure the motor gear to the motor axle. Then attach the main body to the endcap.

Step 8:

Use the round axle to attach the jaws onto the top of the linear actuator arm.

Step 9:

Secure a microservo to the bottom of the pot and attach the rotating piece to the servo and slide the rotating wheel on.

Step 10:

Align the pot base extension with the tabs on the pot base to snap it in and use two pegs to attach the linear actuator to the base of the pot.

Step 11:

Hot glue the ultrasonic sensor to the front of the pot.

Step 12:

Follow the wiring diagram above and place all the electronics into the pot.

Step 13:

Connect the elegoo board to the computer with the usb-b cable and upload the code using Arduino IDE.
