Harry Potter Sorting Hat With Arduino

This is a simple arduino project on how to make a sorting hat from the Harry Potter franchise which will sort you into a house with the help of lights, controlled by an arduino.

Step 1: Step 1: Materials

You will need:

- an Arduino Uno
- a red led
- a blue led
- a green led
- a yellow led
- 5x 220 ohm resistors
- a button
- 7x jumper wires
- a breadboard
- a hat
- 3x socks
- a powerbank
- needle and thread

Step 2: Step 2: the Build

Every LED should be connected with a resistor from pin 2 to pin 10.

Connect the ground GND pin to the ground rail of the breadboard and connect the button to the 5v and the analog ground GND pin.

Rebuid this circuit with your own arduino.

Sew 1 sock to the back of the hat to put the powerbank in and 2 underneath the hat to put the arduino and breadbord in.

Step 3: Step 3: the Software

Download the file and load it.
