About: I enjoy crafting, photography, gardening and cooking. I am an avid cooking contester and I have won several national contests.

Most of us throw away the egg shell when using an egg. I will now tell you why and how you should save your egg shells! 90% of egg shells are made up of pure calcium, a valuable mineral that is important for our muscles and bones. We should all reconsider when throwing our egg shells into the trash. Here is how to make the most out of this precious calcium by turning the shells into powder. You will see that you can easily make egg shell powder too!

You can sprinkle it to use in soups, desserts, sauces or smoothies. The added calcium can help your body and bones stay healthy! It is beneficial that it can save you the money you might spend on calcium supplements. It is also great for the environment since the egg shells will not be trashed.
