Hi, I'm an industrial design student from California College of the Arts. This project is a lunar forklift, to ensure the safe and smooth transportation of goods in a weightless environment.

Step 1: Find Inspiration

On Earth, people use water to simulate weightlessness, so I took inspiration from Marine life.

Step 2: First Concept

Inspired by the tentacles of octopuses, the body parts follow the body shape of octopuses

Step 3: Final Concept

After my discussion with the professor and my classmates, I think the organic shape is like a toy, and it looks more formal with edges and corners
