Introduction: High Powered Air Rifle
How to build a high powered air rifle that will fire any thing that will fit into the barrel at 100-400 psi!
Step 1: Get Parts
The first step is to get all of the parts! Here is the list:
1. 2 ball valves (or 1 ball valve and a modded sprinkler valve and blow gun valve (will show later))
Get these at ACE For about $2.00 at most
2. 1/4" Presure rated (up to 800 PSI) PVC pipe
Get it at ACE for $4.00
3. 2 1/4" PVC Ts
ACE for like $1.00 at most
4. 2 1/4" PVC Elbows
ACE for $1.00 at most
5. A PVC 1/4" End Cap
ACE like .25 cents
6. A Tire valve ( or a input valve, like on a basket ball)
you can get thease at a bike shop for free if you ask nicly, they will give you a popped tire and
you can just cut it out
7. PVC Primer
$3-5 at ACE
8. PVC Glue
$3-5 at ACE
9. A Thingamagig. I for get what their called but they are 1/4"
Get them at ace for like .25
Ok, so now you have all the parts, right? On to the tools!
You need:
A vice
A Power Drill
A jig or hack saw
Yep, thats really all!
On to the good stuff!

Step 2: Assemble the Stock
Time to put together the stock.
The pics pretty much explain it. Oh, and the measurements don't matter as long as the gun is symmetrical. As you can see, the gun also uses the stock to hold the pressurized air. Oh ya, and don't primer or glue yet! Thats at the end!

Step 3: The Valve
On to the tire valve, basically, all you do is cut your valve out of your tire (or ball, witch I don't recommend cuz then you can't hook up an air compressor to it!), drill a hole into you end cap, stick the valve threw, and use PVC glue to hold it in place. Let it dry for at least 4 hours! And no, you can't use hot glue, it won't hold under high pressure! Trust me! I know!
Step 4: The "Trigger" and "Safety"
The reason I have a second ball valve is because you can flip it on, wait a second, flip it off and then fire a low pressure shot, and do it over and over again with out refilling your tank, it also acts as a safety! Again, the pics are pretty self explanatory. Jut cut and stick all the peaces together!
Step 5: Put It All Together
Now stick every thing together! It should look like this:
Step 6: The Barrel
Time for the barrel! It can be any length you want! I go for around 2ft because the longer the barrel, the faster the ammo will go!
Step 7: Glue and Firing
Now primer and glue all of your PVC except the barrel, you want that to be able to come out!
To fire, just pump the gun up using a, well, a pump! (duh!) Or you could use my all time favorite, a mini battery powered air compresor! So, just fill it up and then fire (Ps. If you don't know how to use the double ball valve system, look at the pics!)

Step 8: Other Way to Fire
This is the mini chamber way to fire:
