Introduction: Holiday Fridge Magnets

My wife was getting decorations at Dollar Tree and I went with her. As I walked around looking at all the great deals this craft popped in my head. You could make 2 holiday fridge magnets for just $3! I will be making more soon that will include painting the tin and adding lights.

Step 1: Materials Needed

Materials

Found at Dollar Tree - Magnet tins, Faux snow, Miniature figures

Scissors, Glue gun, Pencil, Old holiday card

Step 2: Measure and Cut

Take the clear lid off the magnet tin and use it to trace a circle out of the holiday card. Think of what would look best in the background for you. You could also use the packaging from the figurines as shown.

Cut out the circle that you traced. Trim some extra off so that it will fit into the tin easily.

Step 3: Trim

Make sure the figurine will fit inside the tin. Cut off extra plastic.

Step 4: Glue Figurine

The background could be hot glued in. We did not because we felt we had a tight fit.

Make sure to line up your figurine with the background. Glue the figurine into place once you have it in place.

Step 5: Snow and Close

Add the faux snow. The snow looked good on both the Santa and the snowman. Santa tracked snow in to the house in our one :-)

Hot glue around the inside of the tin lid and close the tin.

Step 6: Decorate Your Fridge

Place your beautiful craft on the fridge or other magnetic surface for everyone to enjoy.
