Introduction: Homemade Ice Pack

About: I like inventing, experimenting, rockets, film making, and more! I consider myself a teenaged genius. I feel that with enough time I could build anything.
Have you ever needed an ice pack and didn't have one, or maybe couldn't find one? I have. Ice packs can help ease headaches, sprains, and more. The problem with ice packs are their high demand, everyone wants or needs one. So why not make your own?

Step 1: Materials

What's Needed:
Water
Rubbing alcohol
Watertight freezer bag
Measuring cup
Freezer

Step 2: Measuring

Add 1 1/2 cups water and1/2 cup of alcohol to the plastic bag and seal it.

Step 3: Freeze

Place bag in freezer for at least 3 hours. When needed take the bag out and place, with a small towel wrapped around it, onto the inflicted area. The mixture will not freeze thanks to the alcohol, instead it will stay a slush and can conform to the area. After use place the pack back into the freezer for future use.
