Introduction: Homemade Mini Potato Chip Burger
We all heard of the hamburger, the cheeseburger, hot dogs, and Italian sausages. We all loved them but I was craving something different, something unique and with a lot of fooling around with many recipes- I finally found it: The Mini Potato Chip Burger. It's made with homemade potato chips which are better and healthier than store bought ones. The chips make up the "buns." The meat part is made of a mixture of salmon and shrimp. Beef and other meat or tofu) can also be substituted. Now let's get cooking!
Step 1: Ingredients
- Half a salmon fillet
- 5 good sized shrimp
- One red potato
- Olive Oil
- Salt to taste
Step 2: Prepare Salmon and Shrimp
Soak the salmon and shrimp in water if frozen. It will only need to be soaked for about 5 minutes. Afterward, cut up the salmon and shrimp into tiny pieces, like if you were mincing garlic. Mix together and season. I just sprinkled some salt and mixed evenly.
Step 3: Making the Chips
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Wash the potato and slice it into thin pieces. Brush olive oil onto the tray that you will be using. Lightly coat each potato slice with olive oil and bake for about 8 to 10 minutes.
Step 4: Doing the Burger Filling
Take out the potato chips when done. Preheat your oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit. Use a tablespoon to scoop up the salmon and shrimp mixture. Spread more olive oil on the baking sheet and place each of the mixture balls on it.
Bake for 10 minutes.
Step 5: Finish!
Put together the potato chip burger (chip-filling-chip), put a toothpick through it and you're done! These are the perfect snack, appetizer, or anything else you can think of. Enjoy and tell me how you like it :) !

That's good.
I know a chip-shop does something similar, but they batter & deep-fry 'em.

I ate one last night in bread as it happens. But the place isn't that good really, it mainly exploits tourist and locals who can't be bothered to cook tea...

Haha :) There are many places that do that to tourists :) That's why our family always asks the locals where the best place to go.

It's just being lazy because they can get away with it. Asking locals can be a good move.
