Introduction: Homemade Motorola Droid Multimedia Dock

Takes less than 10 minutes and save $30.

Materials you need:

Magnet (flat, but stronger than a fridge magnet)
small box (at least 3 inches high for the cord to fit)
Droid AC power cord

Tools:
Tape
razor or sharp knife


Step 1:

Construction:
Cut 2 slits in the top edge of the box about 4 and 3/8 inches apart.  Make the slots about an inch on top and an inch down the side.

Fold in the section you cut ( see photo)

Cut in a 1/4 th inch slot for the bottom lip of the phone.

Tape a magnet (as shown) to the box.  Tape it about 1 and a half to 2 inches in from the left slit you made in the box. (Test magnet location and polarity before taping)

Place phone in the dock to make sure the Media Center screen shows up.

Measure and cut out the hole for the power cord.

Step 2:

Finished...  You saved $30!
Now your dock is ready!  Use a USB cord extension if you need to reach the outlet.

Decorate to your desired taste.
